Family Caregivers
We know that no one knows your family member like you do, and that providing care is usually a rewarding endeavor. However, caregiving can become a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week commitment. The emotional and physical demands can take a toll on the emotional and physical health of the caregiver. Statistics show this is often not relieved by institutional care because family involvement is still needed. But without respite – a temporary break from in-home demands – the caregiver can be at risk for depression, exhaustion, and other health problems.

Are you seeking everyday care? At Friendship Adult Day Services, your family member can enroll for any number of days from Monday through Friday. We will provide a personalized care plan for your family member that includes cognitive, physical and social activities that are based his or her interests and abilities.
